Barre class combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. The class is designed to stretch and keep muscles lengthened, leaving a body strong and lean. Classes use props such as small balls, resistance bands, hand and ankle weights, and discus to help tone and strengthen. This class blends cardio, strength training, flexibility balance and core conditioning for a total body work out. A yoga mat is required and light hand and ankle weights are recommended.
