What items can be brought to the Orange Transfer Station?
  1. Plastic bags & wraps – grocery & retail bags; dry cleaning bags; soft plastic packaging for paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, diapers, beverages, clothing, newspapers, produce, food storage, household items, etc.; plastic used for shipping filler.
  2. Paint – Cans of house paint and primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings (e.g., shellac and varnish). Here’s what’s accepted and how to recycle. Note – empty cans go in your recycling bin.
  3. Electronics (e-waste)– cell phones, desktop & laptop computers, monitors, tablets, routers, TVs, wires & cables. See list on Facebook. These items are strictly prohibited from the transfer station hopper.
  4. Cardboard – flattened, simply toss in designated dumpster
  5. Paper – newspapers, plain paper, books/catalogs, cartons, etc.
  6. Glass – bottles, jars
  7. Tires – rims removed
  8. Metals – tanks and appliances, tire rims and cans
  9. Building materials
  10. Brush and leaves
  11. Donations – Goodwill bin
  12. Oil - designated area
