1. How do I request an inspection?

You can request an inspection  by calling our office at 203-891-4711, or email the Fire Marshal at tsmith@orange-ct.gov.  Leave a message and someone will return your request on the next business day.

2. When do I need a permit from the Fire Marshal's Office?

You will be required to secure a permit from the Fire Marshal's Office when:

1.  You are planning on any new commercial construction or renovations to an existing commercial building;

2.  If you would like have a campfire;

3.  If you operate a facility that requires a State of Connecticut permit such as a liquor license or a daycare facility;

4.  If you're not sure, call the office and we will clarify.

3. How do I apply for a permit from the Fire Marshal's Office?
